The Young People

Monique has “adopted” a number of young people to whom she and Ben are extremely close.  They are spiritual children, dear friends, protégés, who fill her heart with joy and add so much to her life that “family” seems owed to as well as deserved by them.

Susan Chin, Monique’s other BFF. She began as Monique’s assistant, moved on as her associate, and took first place as her best friend and little sister.  Maman Dina is totally on board to adopt her!
