The Reunion

Maristella Lorch is a famous professor of Medieval and renaissance Studies who took Monique to Florence to study Italian and Art History when she was young.  She was her advisor at Barnard.  Barbara Novak is a world-famous art historian and novelist, author of “Alice’s Neck.” She has inspired more students at Barnard College than any other professor. Her husband, Irish activist, sculptor and painter Brian O’Doherty, hit it off with Ben as well.
